BOOM! Dropping from space sometime in the 21st century, Shottas – KAi & Atlin – an unsigned duo of vocalists residing in Vancouver, B.C. have been known to constantly push boundaries on their journey to reach uncharted musical territory.
Dubbed RappaRockaReggae, these young MC’s have created their own unique sound, fusing Rock, Reggae and Hip Hop into one creation, as well as utilizing live instruments, to effectively display their prolific lyricism and musical creativity. At the fresh ages of 20 and 22, these hungry artists have accumulated one of the biggest underground followings in the local scene, off the strength of consistent jaw- dropping live performances and recent/future collaborations with Matt Brevner, The Scale Breakers & Fembot.
Wednesday May 5th 2010, the duo released their highly anticipated debut project titled, “I Am The V.” It will soon be available to the masses by way of iTunes, Amazon, etc. The video for their leadoff single, “Space” has been featured on Hip Hop Canada as well as garnered the duo an interview on GetGrounded.tv.
