Symphony in DeMeanor
Symphony in DeMeanor
The band is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, but their music has been played, downloaded and sold throughout the world, particularly overseas in mainland Europe and the United Kingdom. Their style is described as Classic Rock / Pop / Psychedelic. The band has had some good reviews in the past. It is an interesting combination, a more free interpretation of pop music, A little psychedelic touch, you can definitely recognize the Beatles influence and a lot of seventies
Symphony in DeMeanor was formed in 2002 when songwriting partners, and former bandmates, Rob Vermeulen and Tom Carter began recording one of their tracks “Lonely Fool”. Bruce Carrick and Mike Michalkow joined in the recording and the four guys have been together ever since.
“Lonely Fool” was released as a single, and then included on their 2004 debut release “The First One”, which went on to win the “2005 Best Album” award from the International On-Line Music Awards an award it received after over 15,000 ballots were cast. Their second release, surprisingly enough entitled “The Second One”, was released in May 2006 and surprised a few listeners, as the band showed their diversity, without straying too far from their own unique sound. Their third release, “Time Goes On” was released in December 2009. Positive reviews continue to come in, calling “Time Goes On” a return to ‘the album’. TIme Goes On is named one of the “10 Best CDs of the Year” by rock critic Tom Harrison in the Vancouver Province newspaper.
