MusicFest Vancouver is back for a tenth year of bringing the world’s finest classical, jazz and world music artists to Vancouver, and its diverse 2010 program showcases the festival’s core mission to celebrate and promote live music in many styles and forms. We started the show with a band from the UK called Cougar, we played 4 songs from their single Stay Famous on Counter Records. Kind of Post rockish.

LIO is a music artist who skillfully blends various types of genres in his live performances as well as his studio recordings. Having sung and played in several alternative rock bands in Mexico he decided to embark on a new solo project that has led him to explore new possibilities for his artistic vision. His first release, TAURO EP (2007) was recorded in NYC by producing duo GLACIERZ. In late summer of 2008 the CRYSTAL EP, his current second release, was produced and performed by LIO and also co-produced and engineered by Parlange, in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.
