The Birthday Massacre

The band was formed in 1999 and independently produced and recorded their first two albums, Nothing and Nowhere and Violet. Through both of these high-demand releases, as well as their highly acclaimed and beautifully atmospheric website, the band obtained a large and loyal fan base throughout the world. Due to their independent success, in 2005 they were approached by European record label Repo Records (followed shortly by Metropolis Records in North America) and the band began its steady climb to reaching a much wider audience with the 2007 release of the acclaimed and wildly popular Walking With Strangers.

Zimmers Hole

With a wicked sense of humor and an undying love for true metal, guitarist Jed Simon (Tenet, SYL) and bassist Byron Stroud (Fear Factory, SYL) pay homage to the genre by celebrating its eccentricities in their Canadian quartet, ZIMMERS HOLE. Rounded out by their certifiable vocalist The Heathen and long-time biggest fan Gene Hoglan (Dethklok, SYL) on drums, THE HOLE, as they are affectionately known by their loyal legion of miscreant followers, will reach worldwide audiences for the first time with their third full-length, When You Were Shouting At the Devil, We Were In League With Satan.

[gigpress_shows scope=upcoming artist=42 limit=10]
Gravis,  means “heavy” in Latin
Vancouver’s Gravis started life in the basement studio of longtime friends and roommates Colin Cryderman and John Arntsen a few kilometers outside of Vancouver, British Columbia. Playing and recording music together for several years, they put together a collection of original songs with the objective of playing them in front of a live audience. The only problem was that they needed a drummer that could provide and accompany the energy that the music so desperately required. Enter John Gottselig. After playing with John …

Fuse Breaker was started by Guitarist Chris Thomas “Red Ant Army – Dielectric – Thomas/Thomson”.
In late 2009 after the break up of “Red Ant Army” in the fall of 2009 he hooked up with “Dan Thomson” who he had been doing work with his solo efforts “Thomas/Thomson”. AUDIOSTAGG was first formed in the summer of 1989 in Modesto, CA
Two friends influenced by the music they grew up with; primarily the British heavy rock scene- UFO, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest (and even The Baby’s) and other guitar and bass-driven heavies of the 1970’s and early 80’s. Greg Gould and Steve Niles were connected and driven by their shared passion for music, and as young teens they expressed their drive through pantomime on tennis rackets in their childhood bedrooms…and then taught themselves how to play the …

Beyond The Fall

Rock ‘n’ roll, cathartic by nature and visceral by design, is the ideal medium for cleansing the soul, exorcising the blues and kicking out the jams. Beyond the Fall’s Jason Wilkinson knows this all too well.
As the Vancouver quintet’s founder, songwriter, singer and guitarist, Wilkinson crafted the title tune of the band’s debut five-song EP, “A Day in the Death Of,” in the wake of a particularly nasty breakup. “Writing is my diary,” he says. “When I write a song, it’s about something I’ve gone through in my life. That song is about the last big fight in a relationship, the one where you say everything you don’t mean. The one when you drop the bomb.”

The Chris Wilson Band

When Oshawa Ontario based musician Chris Wilson recorded his 1st CD titled “Chris Wilson Lazy-Bones” Chris Wilson had done the whole project himself because at the time there was just no finding a band that would stay together long enough to accomplish. Because Chris Wilson was a one man band on his CD, he was given the name “The Chris Wilson Band” by all that know him and his songs. So that’s why when you see the members of the Chris Wilson Band, it is Chris.

The Red Threat

Allow me to introduce The Red Threat, a band whose sole purpose is to defy this methodological norm and treat these words not as instructions, but as a lifestyle. Hailing from Sherwood Park Alberta with an average age of only 18 years old, The Red Threat seeks to convince anyone who will listen that they are musically mature beyond their years. Their eclectic collection of influences (both musical and social) is only superceeded by their relentless and undying devotion to continuously create and grow.
