We started the show with the Secretaries and the Brassholes with the song Hey Girl! these guys are from Edmonton.
The You say party We Say Die! One of the best Vancouver bands of this decade. They have a new Cd and the song was Glory.
Mia Moth a band from Vancouver, with the song All there is.
Lunic a cool band from NY state, with the song Love me from the album. I generally don´t play gringo bands unless they are really good like Sonic Youth or Yo La Tengo or Flaming Lips (you get the point) but sometimes we get good independent CDs.
Mew from Denmark playing on December 11 at the Venue. The Cd has an unbelievable long title but check it out is groovy.
Interview with two Apple Tobacco. Dan Doerksen and Jessica Harvey.
Nadja is a band from Vancouver, we were listening to their song on the back,
Two apple tobacco played LIVE! On the show. Uplifitng Depression.
The we listened to a song from two Apple Tobacco from their EP. The song was From Killigry to Livingry.
The Paper Cranes with this super cool song Chivlary is dead from the CD by the same name.
We heard another Mew song Introducing palace player and gave away tickets. Always tickets for cool concerts.
Two Apple Tobacco our special guests were playing LIVE and did a couple of songs.
We heard a couple of Hungarian bands dedicated to Maruska, the first one was called A pénz by the band Metro and the second one was Hungaria with the song Vegallomás, these guys are psychedelic bands from the communist era.
Then we heard a live version of a song from Paralsis Permanente from you tube dedicated to my friends Luis Abad, José Luis Carneiro y Jorge Michel el machín. Quiero ser santa which means I want to be a saint. Brutal. It talks about the sufferings of catholism to be a saint.
Ska-p. Talking about religion gives us this song called crimen solicitations which talks about the pedophile priests and the protection they get from the Vatican and the pope himself. Religion is the opium of the masses. Don´t fall into their web of lies. The CD is called Lágrimas y Gozos and it’s the triumphal return of this Madrid band.
Anti Christmas song lets don´t bother with Christmas with the band Minimalist Jug band, very funny.
