We started the show with Le Mystére des Voix Bulgares an amazing choir from Bulgaria, the song is called Ovdoviala Lissichkata which means the fox has lost its cubs.
The we heard from Vancouver Aunts and Uncles from their EP the song is called
Tinariwen with a couple of songs, this Tuareg band was one of th best bands of the year we listened to the songs Tenhert and Aldhechen Manin.
Then from the UK Animal Collective with the song Mu Girls from the LP Merriweather Post pavilion.
Grizzly Bear with the song Cheerleader from the CD Veckatimest, great song.
Phoenix from the CD Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix we heard the song Rome
Lhasa was an amazing singer with Mexican roots, she was based in Montreal and lost her battle with cancer on January 1st. The song was Anywhere on this road. Rest in peace Lhasa de Sela.
Inspector from Mexico with Celso Piña and the song was El Año Viejo. A remake to say goodbye to last year.
The Rain and the Sidewalk with the song You looked like you been through from the CD Weakness. Vancouver talent.
The Kidnap Kids a cool new Vancouver band with a new CD.
Hot Little Rocket with the song Volcano, another Vancouver band.
Los Furios with a new CD called Run devil run, the best ska band in the country gave us Lost in the barrio.
The Rekkening will be at the show next week talking about anarchy and sharing their songs. We heard the song bad day.
From the Hungarian block we heard a couple of songs from the Pshyechedelic compilation Well hung. We heard Nemenyi Bela & Atlantis with the song Kinai Fal which means Chinese Wall. Then we heard Kati Kovacs & Gemini with the song Nem Biztos Semmi.
We finished the show with the Japanese band Love Psicodélico and the song Your Song.
