SHORE 104.3 FM ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF SONG SEARCH 2011

Shore 104.3 FM is pleased to announce the kick-off of Song Search 2011! Starting this Friday, April 1st at 9 AM, musicians from all across British Columbia will be able to submit their best song to be considered in the 2011 Song Search contest. This is the second year for the Shore 104.3 FM Song Search. Last year’s big winner was musician Zaac Pick with his song “My Century” and he’s certainly made the most of his time as the very first Song Search winner. Over the past year, Zaac has received extensive airplay of his music on Shore 104.3 FM, recorded a brand new album and he recently played high profile industry showcases at Canadian Music Week in Toronto and SXSW in Austin, TX.

Jess Hill Peak Performance Project VOTING

East Vancouver songstress and crow lover, Jess Hill, could be seeing her dreams a little more clearly at the end of this month. Hill has been competing in the PEAK 100.5 FM’s, Peak Performance Project, for a chance to win $100,500 to pour into further developing her music career.Set to release her new album ORCHARD in the new year, winning the contest could mean Jess’s music reached a whole new audience and an opportunity to tour Europe. Online voting opened last week and closes on Monday October 18th at midnight.
