Formed in 2009 by ex-Buttless Chaps frontman Dave Gowans, Cloudsplitter is a textural and atmospheric take on No Depression country, folk rock, and understated psychedelia.
Far from a solo project, Cloudsplitter features collaborators Stephen Lyons (Fond of Tigers) on drums, Jesse Gander on bass and keyboards (The Hive Studios, Ghosthouse), and multi-instrumentalist Doug Liddle on different guitars, lap steel and banjo(Swank).

After a two-year break, the San Francisco guitar-drum duo TWO GALLANTS will begin touring again this summer across the North America and Europe. The well-needed time off came after six years of incessant touring and the release of three full-length studio albums and an acoustic EP. The band consists of childhood friends Tyson Vogel and Adam Stephens who met on their elementary school playground at the age of five. Despite an initial disagreement and ensuing scuffle over the supremacy of White Lion vs. Whitesnake, the two have been best friends ever since. They have been playing music together in some capacity since 1994, when their parents made the mistake of giving them both electric guitars for Christmas

The baby Stolen Organs were born from the righteous pool of afterbirth rained down from a Shonavan corn shucked named Rusty when he whopped his tabby cat in a boxing match at the Great Barn Burner of ‘76. They always, always record at home and were once called the Bastard Sons of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. He was glad. Their freakish brand of distorted country psychedelia has somehow had them sharing a stage with touring sensations such as Mother Mother, Yo La Tengo, Adrian Orange and The Small Sins.

Originally from Aylmer, Quebec, Earle has lived in Vancouver since 1975. He has written songs since he was 12 years old, so you could say that “By the Flood” is the culmination of 40 years of experience. Earle’s songs have been featured in many different groups over the years, including Flying Ship, Natural Elements, Earle Peach and Friends, and Contraband.
