Hey Toronto Musicians Be Seen And Heard In Vancouver!
I’m in Ontario on the outskirts of Toronto at the moment and I’m looking for music. Everywhere I go I’m asking people to recommend local bands and musicians to me. And Toronto being the largest city in Canada I’m sure I will find a mountain of new music to listen to.
While VanMusic is a Vancouver based music website I’m on a mission to get Vancouver musicians seen and heard in Toronto and Toronto musicians seen and heard in Vancouver. Canada overflows with talent and our music scene needs to be spread around, so here’s the plan; As VanMusic has the website and two radio shows on 101.9 FM in Vancouver we have started a campaign in which we will feature Toronto musicians and bands on vanmusic.ca and we will play Toronto bands on our radio shows.
Our goal is to have Toronto musicians profiled on our site and on our radio show so Vancouver can hear what’s happening in Toronto and Toronto can get a taste of what’s happening in Vancouver.
So if you are in a band or if you are a musician in Toronto or Ontario in general then send us your music! Send us links to your Myspace page, send us bios send us all the info you can; links, vids, whatever you have and we will do our best to promote your music in Vancouver!!
You can submit your music and info here; toronto@vanmusic.ca We will profile you on our site, play your music on our shows and spread you around as much as we can. If you’re doing a show in Toronto let me know and if it’s possible for me to get out to it I will come, take pics do a show review and interview you and your band! So there it is if you want your band and music to be seen and heard in Vancouver then make sure to send us the goods!
