Mint Records = Mint Party
On December 4th I went to the Mint Records Christmas party at The Biltmore Cabaret.
Oswaldo Perez was helping with the merchandise table for Mint And CiTR . Oswaldo has his ways and I was allowed to volunteer as well. And am I ever glad I did! It was an awesome party with great bands.
Aunts and Uncles, Kathryn Calder, fanshaw, Kellarissa, Hot Panda, Vancougar, Carolyn Mark and of course The Pack A. D.

Some highlights for me were Kathryn Calder, fanshaw, Hot Panda and The Pack A.D. I had two shifts at the table so I didn’t get a chance to take in the full effect of each band’s show from the dance floor. But one thing I can tell you for sure isThe Pack A.D. know how to Rock and Roll. What a performance and a great way to end the night.
Mint Records knows how to throw one hell of a party. If you were one of the first seventy-five people through the door you got a prize ticket. I felt jolly as St. Nick himself, giving away all that swag. CD’s, Records, Shirts, DVD’s, Jumbo boxes of Pocky in all flavors, from chocolate to strawberry even vegetable flavored! I didn’t even know they had vegetable flavor! Maybe I gotta get out more, but that strawberry Pocky is the bomb.
I also met Nardwaur the Human Serviette. I had seen his interviews with countless bands and I decided I would try to interview the interviewer.
Nardwaur rocks, he’s down to earth, hilarious and his energy is truly contagious. He told us about his interviews with Snoop Doggy Dog and Nirvana and he gave me some good advice on hijacking people in bars and asking them for interviews. I will try to post my own hijacking with him soon. Thanks Nardwaur!
One more thing, here’s a link to my old YouTube channel. It was VanMusic before there was a VanMusic. Wow… From that to this, I guess sometimes you just never know what’s going to happen next.
