There is something about venues in BC!

I don’t know what it is but they are the friendliest anywhere else in the world. Here are a few examples why.

On Friday, January 22, 2010 the Cultural Olympiad kicked off at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver.

The French alternative rock band Phoenix headlined the event. I have to really hand it to this band, a powerful example of what happens at BC venues. If this was any other band I’m sure they would have stopped the show, but they played on! The lead singer gets pushed around a bit while excited fans get their photo shoot but this never fazed him as he was more then happy to give the fans what they wanted. Bravo Phoenix, Bravo.

The 2009 Sasquatch Festival is a prime example of what the power of one can really do. The energy must have been crazy for this guy, I really wish I would have been here for this one.

Well there’s 2 examples of why BC hosts the best festivals and concerts, mainly because of the people here love the music and just want to enjoy it.
