In this first part we see some of the heavy hitters as well of some of the party monsters that dwell in this city. These bands have put the name of Vancouver to high musical standards. The bands in this article are all known outside of Canada and they keep producing new music and winning contests and fans.
To celebrate, CJSF is throwing a huge party with six great local Vancouver bands. Come out to The Astoria Pub on Friday September 26 to help celebrate this milestone and watch some of Vancouver’s best bands. Simon Fraser University’s CJSF 90.1 has been on the FM dial for 11 years!
